I've hopped through many keycap profiles, including popular ones likes MT3 and SA/SA-P, and I find that DSS beats all of them. The way DSS keycaps are sculpted makes them easy to reach keys and is a pleasure to type on. The profile is nice and short which does not require you to over-arch like with MT3 or SA profiles and is not tiring.

I'm currently using a mix of Cherry, OEM, SA and MT3 on my keyboards, and this has to be one of my favourites. Heaps of texture for the sweaty-fingered folks, but not so "showy" as the high-sculpt version. I hope this set gets some more colours, its really nice on my TKL board.

I'm really loving the DSS profile, and the Dolch colors are timeless. With DSS, I get the texture that I've liked from DSA, but with a sculpted profile (similar to DCS or SA) that makes touch-typing far more comfortable.

And if you're having to mix-and-match with existing keys to create a chimera keyboard of sorts, an R2 keycap is only slightly different from a standard DSA keycap.

I'm a Dolch man, and when I saw that SP was bringing back DSS with their classic legends and...importantly...1.25 FN key and a non os specific win/command/sun key... I was sold on giving it whirl. I generally like smooth keycaps, but these textured caps really feel good. I like the feel better than the stock PBT that came with board (that's an opinion). My only problem is, that after typing on these. I may have to replace the DSA Dolch caps on my numpad. :0
